I started this journey with only the LGBTQ (Or whatever order it’s in, the gay folks!) culture in mind. But in time my mind warped and my vision morphed. Over the years I realized unfortunately and tragically there were a lot of hetro, misfits as well. People who were told for whatever reason they don’t belong or they just didn’t feel like they belonged because it was painfully obvious by all, they didn’t fit into anyone’s box. Just as a side bar, neither did Jesus, just sayin.  

    I found myself admitting I was in-fact wrong that day, on the porch, so many years ago. God’s love wasn’t just true of people like me. His love was true of people like ALL of us, the witches, the warlocks, the mediums, the pagans, the heathens, the Satanists, the little kid on the corner that was never accepted or loved by anyone, the prostitutes, the drug dealers, the nerds, punks and purple people eaters. Yes, he loves you too!  

     The other thing you should be aware of is I’m not trying to convert you either, not my mission or my vision, simply, not my job. My job is to love and respect you, and it’s God’s job to convert you if he so chooses. And I put it that way because for a lot of you, you may be surprised if you decide to delve deeper into this, that he has no intention of “converting” you either, maybe, like me he made you a certain way for a reason? But hey that’s between you and him. What I can tell you, no matter what category you fit into, if you’re breathing, then he wants to be a part of that vary and every other subsequent breath thereafter. That much I can assure you of.   

     As for me and how I feel about it. I could care less what you believe. I whole heartedly hold on to the notion that everyone has a right to believe in whatever they want to or feel is a part of them. Anyone who knows me, knows my fave convo is different belief systems. I personally don’t think any one religion or belief system holds the corner market on the entire truth. So I’m cool with you no matter what you believe or don’t believe. And if your curious about what I believe, I’ll share with you, if not that’s cool to. I don’t push it on anyone. You don’t agree and want nothing to do with it, but still wanna hang out and chill. I’m down.  

     So my vision is, that ALL misfits are welcome and loved by a good God, whether they follow this path or one of your own. I want us all to understand the concept, that maybe we are “misfits” because we were created to stand out.
